Daily Five: Town Auctions, Boy Scouts Sale and Countdown to Autumn
Happy Thursday, Montville. Here's your Daily Five chock full of interesting stuff just for you!
1. A lovely day is forecasted today with sun and a few passing clouds, dry and temps in the low 70s. Autumn is almost here; 10:49 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 22. Yay!
2. Boy Scout Troop 60 is holding a tag sale Saturday from 9 to 1 at the Fair Oaks School community center 836 Old Colchester Road. Go get some more stuff and help the troop.

3. The town has three tax sale auctions coming up. Check the web site for specific details of the October events. The properties include 275 Maple Ave.
4. Municibid online government auction website has a new vendor; the Town of Montville! Up for auction now are a couple of Crown Victoria’s and trucks. Finance Director Terry Hart said in July the town was poised to start selling on the auction site and sure enough, here we are.

5. Inland Wetlands Commission meets tonight and one of the items on its agenda incudes a look at an application for a mixed use development at the Marriott Plaza at 1360 Route 32 in Montville.
