Daily Five: Absentee Ballots Again, Candidate Debate, and a Peeping Tom?

Your Five is a mixed bag today, Montville!

 2. Kudos to Waterford Police and Crystal Mall security for their vigilance in working to keep people safe by detecting an alleged Peeping Tom!

3. The Day is sponsoring a candidate’s forum tonight at 7 p.m. at Montville High School. The panel includes incumbent Democrat Rep. Kevin Ryan and his Republican challenger in the 139th House District, Leon Moore and candidates for the 42nd House District, Democrat Timothy Bowles and Republican Mike France. Attendees can submit written questions. Montville Patch will be there. Will you?

4. Thanks to awesome Town Clerk Lisa Terry for setting me straight: Absentee ballots are available for the Nov. 6 presidential election at Town Hall, the Town Clerk's office beginning Friday, Oct. 5. I incorrectly stated those ballots were in the Registrar’s office and available now. Nope. Not in the Registrar’s office and not until Friday! Sorry for any confusion!

5. We started a Person of the Week last week with Rosetta Jones getting us started. Each week I'll choose someone from the community and share a bit of their story. Could be anyone. You?
