Daily Five: Bus Stop Forecast, First Day for New Principal and After School Program

1. So here’s out bus stop forecast:  Around 65 degrees with a partly cloudy sky and not a drop of rain in sight. That’s a good omen, I’d say. A nice day to start the school year!

2. Today is the first day of school for Montville! Patch wishes good luck to all Montville students, educators and parents! 

3. The first day of school, it’s also the first day of the Montville Youth Service Bureau After School Program. There was a mandatory meeting for parents last week. There’s a ton of awesome stuff on their website so check it out. 

4. And it’s the first day of school for new Montville High School Principal . Good luck and keep us posted!  

5. Parks & Rec fall program registration begins today. And while one could go to town hall, the online registration program, WebTrac, is user-friendly and saves on gas! The types of classes and programs available include dance; ballet, hip-hop, tap for children as well as Zumba, yoga, judo, karate, golf and youth basketball.
