Council to Meet Tonight

Regular monthly meeting has been rescheduled

The Town Council's regular monthly meeting has been rescheduled to tonight, at 7 p.m. in the Town Council chamber.

On the agenda are two executive sessions, one to interview Thomas McNally for the Conservation Commission and Alison L. Schmeizl for the Youth Advisory Board; the other executive session is to discuss employee matters with the council and Mayor Joe Jaskiewicz.

The council will hear the monthly report from Fire Marshal Ray Occhialini, remarks from the mayor, from administrative department heads, and from liasions to committees and standing committees.

There are several motions allowing the mayor to execute contracts to benefit seniors.

The council will discuss the establishment of Historic Preservation and Restoration Steering Committee for the preservation and restoration of the Raymond Hill Congregational Church, and will discuss waiving the charter requirements so that the Water Pollution Control Authority can waive the bid process for renovations of sewer manholes.
