Council Sets 3 Special Meetings This Week

WPCA, Commission on Aging, Public Safety Commission also set meetings

Here are the municipal events scheduled for this week. Recycling pick-up will be the same as it usually is.

Monday, Jan. 2

Tuesday, Jan. 3

The Town Council has scheduled a special meeting starting at 6 p.m. in the Town Council Chamber. The meeting is to hold an executive session about an ethics complaint filed with the Town Council.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

The Town Council has scheduled a special a special meeting at 6 p.m. in the Town Council chamber to interview candidates for the position of town attorney.

The Public Safety Commission has scheduled a special meeting for 6:30 p.m. in Room 203 of Montville Town Hall. On the agenda is a motion to review and discuss the budgets from the Montville Police Department, Fire Marshal, Animal Control, Building Official, Chesterfield Fire Company, Oakdale Fire Company, Montville Fire Company and Mohegan Fire Company.

Thursday, Jan. 5

The Commission on Aging has scheduled a meeting for 10 a.m. in the Senior Center Library. On the agenda is a vote on the chairperson and secretary, and updates on a variety of topics.

The Town Council has scheduled a special meeting for 6 p.m. in the Town Council chamber. This meeting is also to interview candidates for the position of town attorney.

The WPCA has scheduled its regular meeting for 7 p.m. in the Town Council chamber.

Saturday, Jan. 7

The nonprofit tag sale at Fair Oaks School takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to benefit MHS Project Graduation.
