Public Safety Commission, Public Safety Building Commission, Public Works and More Meet This Week

Monday, May 23

The Public Safety Commission meets in the Town Council chamber at 7 p.m. On the agenda is a discussion of the progress of the Public Safety Building, an update on the firefighter-hiring process and a discussion on the status of funding for a public safety plan from the town. The Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a special meeting at 5:30 in the council chamber. On the agenda is consideration of a memorandum of understanding with Rand Whitney Containerboard regarding the new commercial billing system.

On the agenda is a discussion of an increase in tipping fees, and a "Pay as You Throw" progam,  discussions of the town auction, the adopt-a-Road program, bridge repairs, road repairs and a proposed metal-collection ordinance.
