Warrant Arrest, Shoplifting Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police and Montville Police. It does not indicate convictions.

Jan. 23

At 4:10 a.m., police stopped a man walking along the edge of Route 2A West. The report says that police arrested Jeffrey Betty, 30, of 34 Lisa Lane, Oakdale, on an active failure to appear warrant. He was assessed a $500 cash bond and given a Jan. 23 court date.

Jan. 24

At 4:35 p.m., Montville Police arrested Ricky Cordero, 41, of 245 Benham Road, Apt. 6, Groton, and charged him with larceny in the sixth degree: shoplifting. He was assessed a $500 bond and given a Feb. 9 court date. The report says the suspect was arrested walking out of Stop & Shop in Uncasville with “food and other items.”

At 3:27 p.m., Montville Police arrested Gloria K. Riverasoto, 22, of 168 Woodland Drive, Apt. B, Uncasville, and charged her with breach of peace: fighting, and criminal mischief in the third degree. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond on the latter charge and given a Jan. 25 court date. The arrest came at her home.
