State Police Seek Information on Homicide
A Norwich man's body was found at a Bozrah park on Route 163; he'd been the victim of a gunshot.
Tuesday state police received a 911 call reporting that a male subject was seen lying in the Howard Memorial Field Rt. 163 in Bozrah.
Troopers and emergency personnel responded and found the body of Darius Bishop, 28, of Green Street in Norwich.

State Police Eastern District Major Crime Detectives responded, processed the scene and started the investigation by interviewing potential witnesses.
And while police are “following significant leads in this investigation,” according to CSP spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance, they are seeking “anyone with any information or anyone who may have seen anything” in the area of Howard Memorial Field is asked to contact police at (860) 537-7500. Vance said calls will be kept confidential.
