Stabbing on Meeting House Lane Saturday Night

A fight escalates and a Massachusetts man allegedly stabs a local man; the former in jail on $500,000 bail and the victim transported to Backus

 

According to Montville Resident State Trooper Sgt. Martin Martinez, the CSP Eastern District Major Case squad is investigating a stabbing at a home on Meeting House Lane Saturday night.

The victim, Thomas Keane, 31, was stabbed in the legs, Martinez said, allegedly by Kenn W. Hannah, 35, of Montague, Mass.

Martinez said a "physical altercation" between at least two men resulted in one stabbing the other. Martinez said Keane was transported to Backus Hospital in Norwich. His condition is unknown.

Hannah is charged with first-degree assault and is being held on $500,000 bail.
