Santa Claus is Coming to Town...On a Fire Truck

See Santa Saturday and Sunday! Just what our kids need! (And moms and dads, too!)

'There are no naughty children this Christmas,' a cartoon caption read.

This will be a Christmas we'll likely never forget, and for our children, we can make it a Christmas to remember, too, but a good one!

And Santa on a fire truck is a good start.

Chesterfield has already done their Santa run, but Mohegan, Montville and Oakdale fire departments will all do their Santa runs this weekend.

Saturday

Montville Fire Department's Santa run begins at 12 noon. The truck will travel various streets within the fire district.

Mohegan Fire Company also has Saturday, Dec. 22 slated as its Santa-run day, albeit in the evening beginning at 5 p.m. Deputy Chief Corey Gaetano recently asked that children and parents meet Santa outside, "so we don't miss you."

Sunday

Oakdale Fire Department has its Santa run Sunday, Dec. 23 at 9 a.m.

Tell Santa Merry Christmas for us.
