Fire Marshal Ray Occhialini says today is a high-fire, red-flag day, and people need to be really, really careful.

"Don't dump those stove ashes outside," Occhialini says, and don't throw cigarette butts or embers out the window.

No burning permits are being issued, and any that have been issued are void at the moment, he said.
