Police Make Series of DUI Charges

State, Montville Police Report Arrests

May 17

At 1:16 p.m., Montville Police arrested Radhames Echavarria, 28, of 1691 Norwich New London Turnpike, Apt. B-6, Uncavsille, and charged him with traveling unreasonably fast for conditions and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond on the latter charge and given a June 7 court date. The arrest came after a traffic stop on Route 32.

At 2:12 a.m., Connecticut State Police responded to Interstate 395 southbound and arrested Michael Veronneau, 30, of 190 Cutler St., Watertown, and charged him with reckless driving, failure to drive in the proper lane and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,000 bond on the latter charge and given a May 31 court date.

At 2:42 a.m., Montville Police arrested Michael J. Flowers, 42, of 140 Moxley Road, Uncasville, and charged him with improper hand signaling, operating or towing an unregistered vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a license, traveling unreasonably fast for conditions and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,500 nonsurety bond on the final charge, and given a June 7 court date. The arrest came at 15 Woodland Drive after a motor vehicle stop.

At 2:33 a.m., Montville Police arrested Susan Lynne Goody, 48, of 12 Birch Circle, Colchester, and charged her with failure to have lights lit and devices illuminated, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond on the latter charge, and given a June 7 court date. The arrest came on Route 32 after a motor vehicle stop.

May 23

At 1:56 a.m., police arrested Henry Montgomery, 41, or 740 East St., New Britain, and charged him with driving with a refused or suspended license or registration, speeding up to 85 mph and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,500 cash bond on the final charge, and given a June7 court date. The arrest came on Route 2A after a traffic stop.
