Police Charge Drug Possession, DUI, Criminal Mischief

The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police and Montville Police. It does not indicate convictions.

June 27

The Statewide Narcotics Task Force East field office and the Waterford Police Department Detective division conducted joint narcotics-related investigations which led to the executon of a search and seizure warrant at 11 Pequot Road, Apt. 2, Montville.

The Montville Police Department assisted. Seized were one pound of marijuana individually packaged for sale; $4,160; a 2003 Cadillac CTS four-door, and items of drug paraphernalia for packaging and scales.

Accused were Anthony Labriola, 22, of 11 Pequot Road, who was  charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and operating a drug factory.

He was assessed a $15,00 nonsurety bond and given a July 12 court date. Also charged was David MacCdaken, 19, of 24 Cove Road, Montvlle. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and operating a drug factory. He was assessed a $15,000 nonsurety bond and given a July 12 court date.

Anyone with information regarding illegal narcotic activity in eastern Connecticut is asked to call the statewide narcotic task force at 860-442-9491 or the anonymous tip line at 800-443-7847.

At 3:54 a.m., Montville police arrested Teresa Gerena, 42, of 95 Woodland Drive, Uncasville, and charged her with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

The arrest came on Leffingwell road, while the officer was investigating a noise complaint.

June 28

At 8:50 p.m., police responded to Platoz Drive, Uncasville, for a report of a domestic disturbance. They arrested Joshua R. Szymanski, 26, and charged him with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was assessed a $50,000 cash bond and given a June 29 court date.

June 29

At 5:02 p.m., police arrested Jeffery B. Cuff, 20, of 10 Carolina Drive, Oakdale, and charged him with failure to drive at a reasonable distance, failure to return license or registration after suspension, failure to wear safety belt in the front seat, and driving a motor vehicle when registration or license is refused or suspend. The arrest came on Interstate 395 South at Exit 79, after a motor vehicle stop.

At 2:03 a.m., Montville Police arrested William F. Mueller, 49, of 96 Wildwood Lane, Uncasville, and charged him with threatening, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $5,000 cash bond on the latter charge, and given a July 12 court date. The accused was arrested after a reported incident in Dot's Cafe parking lot.

June 30

At 10:3 p.m., Montville Police arrested Winfred Startz, 46, of 9 Pequot Road, Uncasville, and charged him with criminal mischief and interfering with police. The reports says that Startz was confused and attempting to enter the wrong residence, damage occurred, and the police and an ambulance were called.The accused ran away, the report says, and then fought with police. He was transported to Backus Hospital, assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given a July16 court date.

At 9:20 p.m., police arrested Spencer M. Dobrowski, 22, of 24 Derry Hill Road, and charged him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was assessed a $2,500 cash bond and given a July 14 court date. Montville Police found him walking down Route 32, the report says, and arrested him on an active warrant.

At 6:45 p.m., police responded to am home on Leffingwell Road, and arrested John W. Martell 3rd, and charged him with breach of peace, harassment in the second degree and trespassing. He was assessed a $2,500 nonsurety bond and given a July 1 court date.

July 1

At 1:20 a.m., Montville Police arrested Theresa Lynn Rogers, 49, of 39 Rene Drive, Oakdale, and charged her with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The arrest came in the parking lot of the Montville Police station. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given a July 19 court date.

At 12:47 a.m., Montville Police arrested Robert G. Blakely, 31, of 79 Parkview St., South Meriden, and charged him with having drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond on the latter charge and given a July 19 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on Route 163.

At 11:38 p.m., Montville Police arrested David A. Demontigny, 44, of 15 Porach Road, Uncasville, and charged him with failure to drive right, speeding on highway up to 85 mph, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bonus on the latter charge and given a July 19 court date. The arrest came on Route 32 at Woodland Drive.

At 7:05 p.m., Montville Police arrested Charles R. Sullivan, 55, of 415 Round Hill Road, Salem, and charged him with failure to drive right and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond on the latter charge, and given a July 19 court date. The arrest came on the Old Colchester Road, following a motor vehicle accident.

At 12:01 p.m., police arrested Kevin R. Welsh, 24, of 27 Walnut Drive, Uncasville, and charged him with interfering with an officer/ simple assault. The accused turned himself in at Troop E on an active arrest warrant. He was released on a $10,000 bond and given a July 25 court date.

July 3

At 6:10 p.m., Montville Police arrested Joseph Satiro, 34, of 211 Gay Hill Road, Montville, and charged him with violation of probation, pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the court. He was assessed a $75,000 cash bond and given a July 5 court date.

July 4

At 2:21 p.m., Montville Police arrested Antonio Roman, 22, of 16 Tower Ave., Hartford, and charged him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was assessed a $7500 surety bond and given a July 18 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop; Roman was a passenger in the vehicle.


July 5

At 12:30 a.m., police arrested Michelle M. Capocci, 23, of 189 Morro St., Oakdale, and charged her with breach of peace. The arrest came at the Riverview Garage at Mohegan Sun. No bond amount was listed in the report. She was given a July 5 court date.


At 2:05 a.m., police arrested Cherylyn Lombardo, 37, of 22 Dydo Drive, Uncasville, and charged her with misuse of the 911 system, and disorderly conduct. She was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond and given a July 14 court date.
