November numbers were presented at December Public Safety Commission meeting
The Public Safety Commission received the Montville Police Department’s report of November calls, at the committee’s December meeting.
Motor-vehicle-collision calls
- 17 calls concerning general motor vehicle collisions
- 17 car-deer collisions
- 9 collisions with injury
- 8 calls concerning motor vehicle vs pedestrian
- 1 collision attributed to DUI
Criminal activity
- 4 burglary calls
- 2 trespassing calls
- 4 loitering/curfew violation calls
- 5 vandalism calls
- 3 calls alleging vandalism of town property
- 22 larceny calls
- 2 robbery calls
- 24 breach of peace complaints
- 29 disorderly conduct calls
- 4 calls concerning unlawful discharge of weapons
- 6 calls concerning harassing phone calls
Motor vehicle-related calls
- 14 for disabled behicles
- 8 for driving while under the influence
- 9 concerning road hazards
- 17 general motor vehicle complaints
- 155 selective enforcement incidents

Fire calls
In November, according to the fire marshal's report, fire departments in town responded to 202 calls.
