Norwich Man Charged in Mohegan Sun Armed Robbery, Pistol-Whipping

Paul E. Harris, 25, allegedly strong-arm robbed an individual at Mohegan Sun

 

The man Montville Police tracked, chased and then lost earlier this month in connection with a pistol-whipping and robbery at Mohegan Sun was charged by Connecticut State Police with several felonies and held on a six-figure bond, according to the state judiciary.

Paul E. Harris, 25, of Norwich, was charged with first-degree attempted robbery, second-degree assault, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal use of a weapon – all felonies. He was also charged with two misdemeanors; second-degree threatening and sixth degree larceny.

Harris is being held on $100,000 bond. He is due in court in Norwich April 8.

As reported by Montville Patch on March 9, Montville and CSP officers chased Harris after an armed robbery and assault at Mohegan Sun, losing him in Norwich.
