Montville Police Logs - Nov. 15 - Nov. 18

The following arrest information was provided by Montville and state police and does not constitute a conviction.

 

Nov. 15

Jordan M. Bassetti, 22, of 1061 East Lake Road, Oakdale was charged along with an East Lyme woman with drug charges following a investigation into suspicious activity in a Mohegan Sun Casino parking garage. Bassetti faces five drug charges including narcotic possession and Brittney Ann Arose Manwaring, 23 of 136 N. Bridebrook Road was charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Bassetti was held initially on $10,000 bond.

Nov. 16

Onix DeJesus, 22 of Stamford was charged with driving under the influence.

Neal D. Becker, 33, of Middletown was charged with criminal trespass and breach of peace after being kicked out of Mohegan Sun for having a “high level of intoxication.”

A 50-year-old Preston man, who allegedly made an unsafe U-turn in bust traffic on Rt. 2, almost colliding with another car, eluded police and was subsequently charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with a police officer two traffic violations. Kaseen Colebut of 17 Watson Road also had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. He was initially held on $10,000 bail.

Nov. 17

Katie Smith, 21, of 84 Midway Oval, Groton was charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia following a car stop on I395 in Montville. She was initially held on $5,000 bond.

Kelim Caron, 22 of 31 Tramart Drive, Uncasville was charged following a 3:30 a.m. car stop on Gallivan Lane.

Nov. 18

A 60-year-old Uncasville man, believing police were attempting to stop him, when in fact the police were responding to an accident, attempted to flee, eluding police and sending them on a car chase from Rt. 2 in Uncasville into Norwich. Reggie Cruse of 90 Leffingwell Road, #3, drove into a Norwich parking lot with police in pursuit. He jumped out of the car and took off only to be pursued by police K-9 Blaze who apprehended Cruse; the man sustained non-life-threatening injures as a result. He was charged with reckless driving and interfering with a police officer. He was initially held on $5,000 bail.

Stephen R. Bowers, 27, of 611 Center St., Uncasville was charged following a 3 a.m. car stop on Rt. 32.

David H Hanke, 68, of Madison was charged with driving under the influence.

Do I really want to trust anybody with my money right now. With this government in office. ARead More voluntary pension plan with who in charge. The state? Does anyone seriously trust the state right now. I don't. When the money disappears we will hear what we are from the IRS sorry I plead the 5th. I don't know anything. I didn't see that. I don't know what you are talking about. I went to the white house for an Easter egg hunt. Bunch of idiots.
