Montville Police Logs - March 22 - 28

The following arrest information is provided by Montville and State police and does not constitute a conviction.

 

March 22

A Woonsocket, RI teen turned himself in to police at Troop E in Montville on a warrant charging him with first-degree larceny for the alleged theft of a car. Jermaine R. Lopez, 19, was held on $100,000 bail.

March 24

Shannon J. Pearson, 47, of 61 Lathrop Road, Quaker Hill was charged with fifth-degree larceny resulting from an alleged shoplifting incident at Stop & Shop in Montville. When police arrested Pearson she had four outstanding warrants.

March 25

Police, responding to a call about shots being fired, arrested and charged William D. Watson, 49, of 8 Cyprus Lane, Uncasville with unlawful discharge of a firearm, breach of peace and reckless endangerment. Police say Watson was firing into the air. His firearms were seized.

March 27

After responding to a disturbance, police arrested Joey M. Garcia, 24, of 164 Rt. 163, Uncasville on a warrant charging him with violating probation. He was held on $50,000 bail.

March 28

A Queens, New York woman was charged with driving under the influence following a car stop. Police arrested Jessica Diaz, 31, after a 1:30 a.m. Platoz Drive car stop.

Mohegan Sun Casino CSP squad arrests

March 22

A Brewster, New York man, who’d been previously kicked out of the casino returned and police charged him with criminal trespass and then find out that Stephen Doyle, 62, has an outstanding failure to appear warrant. He was held at Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center.

March 26

Jeffrey Logan, 71, of Thames Street in Groton, allegedly stole a slot voucher, cashed it in for $230 and was taken into custody. It was then discovered he’d previously been ejected from the casino so was also charged with criminal trespass.

A 21-year-old Bozrah man seen arguing with a female at a casino bus  lobby entrance punched and damaged a security camera. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief. A check revealed that Andrew Fidrych of 317 Fitchville Road had two outstanding warrants for probation violation.

March 27

A woman sitting a gaming table allegedly took another individuals wallet, went to the restroom and took the cash from the wallet. Francheska Vargas, 25, of Willimantic was monitored on surveillance cameras, arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
