Vasilios T. Papathanasiou, 36, of Willimantic was charged with driving under the influence.

Dec. 30
Dillon Herman, 25, of 15 Lake of Isles Road, Preston was charged with first-degree larceny. Herman was being ejected from Mohegan Sun when he stole a Tribal security vehicle and as he attempted to flee, rear-ended another car in a casino parking garage.

Marc C. Qualich, 32, of 83 Broadview Ave., Uncasville and James McNichol, 47, of 79 Broadview Ave., who police said were drinking together got into a verbal argument which became heated culminating in a fist fight. Both men sustained minor injuries and both were charged with breach of peace.
Jan. 3
Van Gutiérrez, 35, of 164 Fellows Road, Oakdale was charged with driving under the influence. Police responded to a complaint of a man passed put in a running car parked on Winthrop Road, awoke Gutiérrez and, after detecting the order of alcohol, arrested him.
Katherine Amero, 46, of 39 Beckwith Road, Oakdale was charged with driving under the influence.
