Montville Police Log, May 6-13

The following arrests were recorded at Connecticut State Police Troop E. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty.  

May 6

Benjamin D. Dahm, 23, of 158 Hawthorne Drive in New London, was charged with sixth-degree larceny. Connecticut State Police Troop E says a trooper recognized Dahm as having a warrant for his arrest while Dahm was loading scrap at a residence on Pequot Road.

May 7

Joshua R. Meng, 22, of 1355 Old Colchester Road in Uncasville, second-degree failure to appear in court, $2,500 bond. Connecticut State Police Troop E says Meng was arrested without incident based on a warrant.

May 9

Brian K. Lewis, 34, of 6 Marcia Drive in Uncasville, second-degree harassment, threatening, no bond listed. Connecticut State Police Troop E says Lewis threatened him with physical harm after he was instructed not to have any contact with the man.

May 10

Timothy J. Mitchell, 27, of 13 River Road in Ashaway, R.I., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling at an unreasonable speed; there was no bond listed. Connecticut State Police Troop E says Mitchell was driving at high speed and illegally passed another motorist while traveling south on Route 32 near Woodland Drive and failed a sobriety test after she was stopped by police.

An-Sung Shiao, 32, homeless, criminal trespass, $750 bond in total. The Connecticut State Police Casino Licensing & Operations Unit says Shiao was arrested at Mohegan Sun on a warrant after returning to the casino following a permanent ejection.

Shuiyu Lu, 58, of 142 Franklin Ave. in Flushing, N.Y., simple trespass, $92 fine. The Connecticut State Police Casino Licensing & Operations Unit says Shuiyu returning to the Mohegan Sun after he had been permanently ejected.

Ellis Molodie, 36, of 183 Connecticut Ave., and Stephen Sheftel, 45, of 20 Leslie Drive in Meriden, second-degree breach of peace, $500 non-surety bond. The Connecticut State Police Casino Licensing & Operations Unit says both patrons were arrested following a disturbance involving a dispute over a slot machine at Mohegan Sun.

May 11

Dennis Griggs, 25, of 23 Karen Lane in Abington, Mass., first-degree criminal mischief, $500 non-surety bond. The Connecticut State Police Casino Licensing & Operations Unit says Griggs caused $1,500 in damage to a glass sculpture at Mohegan Sun.

Olivia Owens, 23, of 29 Lambert Drive in Norwich, second-degree breach of peace, $1,000 non-surety bond. The Connecticut State Police Casino Licensing & Operations Unit says Owens was arrested after causing a disturbance and assaulting her ex-boyfriend at Mohegan Sun.

May 13

Jessica L. Goody, 30, of 82 Jerome Road in Uncasville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right and held on a $500 non-surety bond. Montville Police say Goody was stopped for erratic operation and failed sobriety tests.
