UPDATED: Police Looking For One Suspect in Connection With Attempted Henny Penny Robbery

The Route 32 business is also a Shell gas station

Montville Mayor Ron McDaniel, in his capacity as Chief of Police, told Montville Patch that police are actively investigating an early evening robbery attempt where "no one was harmed" and the suspect "didn't get anything."

McDaniel said police are looking for one suspect. He said that no weapon was displayed during the robbery attempt.

Connecticut State and Montville Police are on the scene of a robbery committed earlier this evening at the Henny Penny, 2210 Norwich-New London Turnpike, according to state police sources. Two suspects were seen felling the store; one on foot one in a truck. It's not clear if police have anyone in custody. Patch will update this story as details become available.
