Montville and State Police Logs - Sept. 14 - Sept. 21

The following arrest information is provided by state and local police and does not constitute a conviction.

 

Sept. 15

Peter Pescetello, 42, of 126 Moxley Road, Uncasville was arrested and charged on a warrant that cam e as a result of an investigation a domestic complaint. He was charged with two counts of violating a protective order.

Turry Holts, 40, of 1 Fellows Road, #45, Montville was charged with two counts of breach of peace, third-degree assault and threatening.

Police saw a parked car, which was registered to an individual with an active warrant. Officers approached the car and the person inside was not the owner, but as it turned out, the Groton man had a warrant too. Police charged Joshua J. Remele, 29, of 53 West St., with failure to appear.

A Ledyard man turned himself into police at Troop E in Montville on three active warrants. Carnell R. Preston, 35, of 1733 Rt. 117 was immediately held on $30,000 bond.

 

Sept. 18

A 23-year-old Montville man was initially held on $20,000 bond for allegedly stealing an Xbox 360.  David Cummings of Doyle Road turned himself in on a warrant that charged him with breaking in to an unoccupied residence and stealing the video game system. He was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.  He has since been released from custody with a promise to appear in court Oct. 17.
