Montville and State Police Logs - Oct. 5 - Oct. 12

The following arrest information is provided by Montville and State police and doe not constitute a conviction.

 

Oct. 6

Jacqueline A. Jordan, 40, of Colchester was arrested and charged with failure to appear in court.

Oct. 9

Kevin B. Avery 45, of 302 Oxoboxo Dam Road was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Timothy D. Hecker, 29, of 70 Lisbon Heights Road, Lisbon was charged with driving under the influence.

Oct. 10

A 36-year-old Boston man was charged with sexual assault after he “grabbed” a woman’s breasts in a bus lobby at Mohegan Sun. According to police, Ziliang Chen said he “wanted to be her friend.” He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, interfering with a police officer and breach of peace. He was held on $20,000 bail.

Two Cook Drive, Uncasville men were charged after a physical altercation, according to police. Jeff Zimmerman, 40, was charged with breach of peace, criminal mischief and interfering with an emergency call. H. Zimmerman, 44, is facing breach of peace.

A Flushing, New York resident was charged with sixth-degree larceny after refusing to pay cab fare in Montville. Jia Lin Zhen, 59, allegedly tried to stiff Norwich Taxi for a fare.

Sarah Moskovitz, 47, of 37 Dubois Road, Uncasville was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of medication not in proper container. Police responded to calls from other drivers about an erratic operator. Moments, later, police said, Moskovitz was in a collision; police responded and placed her under arrest.
