Aug. 18
Eric Wilson, 23, of 11 Lochdale Drive, Oakdale turned himself in on a warrant for his arrest on a charge of driving under the influence.

A car stop on Rt. 32 saw two area men arrested on heroin possession and other charges. Peter I. Heineman, 27, of 32 Alice St., Norwich and Nicholas J. Schneider, 23, of Hanover were charged with possession of narcotics with Schneider also charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Aug. 22
Timothy E. Fowler, 47, of 164 Plain Hill Road, Norwich was charged with driving under the influence following a car stop on rt. 32 near Sarah Drive.
Brian McMahon, 18, of 5 Sachem Lane, Uncasville was arrested in connection with a disturbance in Jewett City. He was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
Aug. 23
William D. Nitsch, 22, of 18 Forest Drive, Uncasville was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was pulled over at 11 p.m. for driving without headlights.
