Mock Crash Scheduled for This Morning

Traffic will be diverted near Montville High School, on the Chesterfield Road

Montville High School’s 2012 Mock Crash is scheduled for this morning between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.

According to Montville High School, the event will take place between Fair Oaks and the softball field on Chesterfield Road.

Traffic could be diverted as early as 7 a.m., so people should plan their routes accordingly.

The crash is an effort to promote safety and safe driving during prom and graduation season.

Juniors and seniors will be dismissed from their classes at 8:15 a.m., and will view the mock crash at 8:30 a.m. Police and fire personnel are expected on site; students from the Drama Club will take part.

Following the mock crash, students and teachers will reassemble in the auditorium. After a closing activity, an inmate from Corrigan-Radgowski will share his experiences.
