UPDATE: I-395 South Reopened, but Moving Slow

A multi-vehicle accident closed I-395 South earlier between exits 79A and 79, but the highway has since reopened.

The highway has reopened, but traffic is moving slowly. Expect delays.

I-395 Southbound between Exits 79A and 79 is closed due to multi-vehicle accident that happened at 9:48 a.m., Friday.

Minor injuries were reported.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation estimates the I-395 S between Exits 79A and 79 will be closed for about an hour.
