High Wind Causing Issues on Route 85

Otherwise, Montville Police report, things are OK

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the entire state of Connecticut, and strong winds have caused some minor havoc on Route 85.

Currently, a downed tree has closed the road in both directions, according to Montville police.

Route 85 is a state road, so all Montville can do is wait for the state to clear the tree, said Montville Police and the Department of Public Works.
