Early-Morning Fire Does a Number on Truck

Engine fire was not suspicious, fire marshal says

At 4:53 a.m., the Montville and Mohegan Fire Departments responded to a truck fire at 189 Norwich-New London Turnpike.

Upon arrival, emergency service personnel found the engine compartment was well involved. Montville Chief Ronald turner was in charge.

The vehicle was a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup owned by Dwight Wozny, who lives at 189 Norwich-New London Turnpike, the fire is not suspicious and there were no injuries.
