DUI, Possession Charges, Warrant Arrest

Feb. 8

At 2 p.m. police stopped Kevin P. Myers, 46, of 38 Congress Place in New London, on Pequot Road in Montville “after receiving a motor vehicle complaint about the accused,” according to the report. Myers was taken into custody and charged for operating or towing an unregistered vehicle, improper use of marker/license/registration, and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused/suspended/revoked. Myers was released on $500 surety bond and given a Feb. 21 court date.

At 11:54 p.m. police arrested Peter M. Paolera, 19, of 53 Lathrop Road in Uncasville, at his home because he had “an active PRAWN arrest warrant,” according to the report. Lathrop was charged with second-degree failure to appear and was assessed a $10,000 bond and given a Feb. 9 court date

Feb. 9

At 1:45 p.m. police stopped a motor vehicle traveling on Norwich-New London Turnpike in Montville for a “motor vehicle violation,” according to the report. Police suspected heroin and marijuana, and a “drug certified K-9 summoned to the scene for search of vehicle and occupants,” the report said.

The report says that Eddie Rodriguez, 27, of 46 Mountain Ave., New London, was driving the car and was charged with possession of controlled substance, narcotics. Rodriguez was assessed a $500 bond and given a Feb. 23 court date.

Nicole Lynn Welch, 19, of 194 Montauk Ave., New London, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, assessed a $500 non-surety bond and given a Feb. 23 court date.

At 1:12 p.m., police responded to an incident on Route 32 near the 2A eastbound off-ramp. David E. Desaulniers, of 131D, Woodland Drive in Montville, was driving when Dallas L. Czyzewski, of 35 Podurgiel Lane in Montville, “walked into oncoming traffic,” according to the report. “As the vehicle was passing by, Czyzewski “hit the back of vehicle and claimed he was hit,” which, the report says, “was backed up by witnesses.”

At 1:22 a.m., police arrested Ismael A. Toro, 43, of 96 Woodland Drive in Uncasville, and charged him with operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and travelling unreasonably fast/fast for conditions. He was assessed a $500 non-surety bond and give and March 6 court date

Feb. 15

At 4:00 p.m. Montville police arrested and charged Kenneth Thompson, 46, of 52 Sunnyhill Drive in Montville and charged him with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Thompson was assessed a $2,500 surety bond and given a Feb. 16 court date.
