DUI Charges, Warrant Arrest

Montville Police, Connecticut State Police report arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police and Montville Police. It does not indicate convictions.

Sept. 15

At 10:47 p.m., Connecticut State Police arrested Richard Coletti, 55, of 30 Ford Ave., Norwich, and charged him with failure to drive right, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The report says Coletti lost control of his vehicle, and became stuck on the side of the road. The officer who pulled him over said he smelled a strong odor of alcohol, and that Coletti refused a sobriety field test. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given a Sept. 27 court date. The arrest came on Route 82.

At 9:25 p.m., Montville Police responded to Sunview Road in Oakdale for a report of an altercation. They arrested Michael Adams, 64, and Victoria Adams, 41, both of 15 Sunview Road. They charged Michael with disorderly condut and third-degree strangulation. He was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond and given a Sept. 16 court date. Victoria was charged with disorderly conduct. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given a Sept. 16 court date.

At 11 a.m., Montville Police arrested Evon Fratus, 51, of 267 Route 163, and charged him with criminal violation of a restraining order. The report says a check showed a valid arrest warrant. He was assessed a $10,000 surety bond. No court date was noted.

Sept. 16

At 3:16a.m., police arrested Jeremy Easterling, 23, whose last known address was West Thames Street in Norwich, and charged him with failure to drive right, driving while under suspension, evading, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $2,500 cash bond, and given a Sept. 27 court date. The arrest came on Park Avenue in Uncasville after a one-car accident.

Sept. 19

At 1:49 a.m., police arrested Karen Faye Younger, 39, of 84 Occum Lane, Montville, and charged her with failure to drive right, improper registration or license, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, driving without a license and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. She was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond on the final charge, and given an Oct. 4 court date. The arrest came on Route 32 at Woodland Drive.

At 8:17 p.m., Montville Police arrested Randy S. Maddocks, 47, of 116 Taunton Drive, Sullivan, ME, and charged him with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, driving without a license and failure to have lights lit and devices illuminated. No bond amount was listed. He was given an Oct. 4 court date. The arrest came on Route 32, after, according to the report, Maddocks was seen driving without his headlights on.

Sept. 21

At 1:26 a.m., police arrested Angela Guzman-meakem, 36, of 6 Cottonwood Lane, Uncasville, and charged her with driving while under the influence of drug and/or alcohol, restricted turns/failure to give right of way and driving without a license. She was assessed a $500 cash surety bond and held for arraignment. The arrest was made on Route 2A in Preston.

At 1:44 a.m., Montville Police arrested Lorrie M. Hammond, 43, of 20D Church St., Norwich, and charged her with failure to drive right, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond on the latter charge and given an Oct. 4 court date. The arrest came on Route 32, after a motor vehicle stop.
