Updated: Fire Out, Residents of House Relocated, Chesterfield Road House Fire Reported

Update at 7:20 p.m.  Fire Marshal Ray Occhialini said the house fire on Chesterfield Road started in a bedroom. The fire has since been safely extinguished and the residents have been relocated; Occhialini said "they had a place to go." 

Update: Fire Marshal Ray Occhialini just sent us some info and a picture. HE said the fire is across from the Chesterfield Fire House. We're told most of the fire has been "knocked down," but tankers are still responding. 

We have just received a report of a fire in Oakdale at 889 Chesterfield Road. Reports indicate there's a fire in a second floor bedroom of a two-story house. Reports indicate several fire departments are responding including Chesterfield, Oakdale, Mohegan and Salem. The tanker task force is enroute and Fire Marshal Ray Occhialini has been contacted, reports indicate.
