Check Out the Kids' Fire Safety Art!

Every year, the Connecticut FAIR Plan, which represents the Connecticut insurance industry, sponsors the a calendar contest for kids in the fourth and fifth grades.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal, the Connecticut Fire Marshals Association, the Connecticut Fire Chiefs Association and the Connecticut State Board of Education are also in on the project.

Every year, fourth- and fifth-graders throughout the state participate in the Connecticut Fire Prevention Poster Contest.

The goal is to make sure that kids and their families understand that everyone has a role in preventing fires.
