A Late Night Montville-Waterford Border Car Stop Nets Alleged Drug Dealer

CSP charged a 23-year-old with intent to sell prescription drugs, among other charges.

 

A 23-year-old man, pulled over by state police at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 22, on the Montville Connector to Waterford, was charged with dealing prescription drugs, among other charges including weapon possession.  

“Information was developed that the accused was actively selling prescription medications,” a CSP Troop E press release said.

James Lepage, of Canterbury, “was determined to be in possession of several items of drug paraphernalia, suspected heroin, assorted weapons and prescription medication,” the release read.

Lepage was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of heroin, weapon possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held, booked and then released on $5,000 non-surety with a New London Superior Court date.
