I would vote McFee any day. From what I know he has not been arrested and Ryan has been in to long and done nothing for . In fact he voted in favor of the sex treatment Facility. Not cool.

What does Mr. McFee have to show for himself for the time served on the Town Council? How to come to meeting, not prepared; not giving reports on committee's that he sits on, ect. Take is no track record to be proud of.

Mr. Ryan has always been responsive to calls, letters, and emails about matters before the legislature. I have found him to be knowledgeable about the issues, and I greatly appreciate his support for education and health care service. He will get my vote.

WOW Tim, how he is dressed is not the grounds for a good representive of Montville. Maybe you would like to take the lead in buying his wardrobe from now on? How about how he went to Hartford to fight for Montville. I wish Kevin would take an example and follow Mr. McFee's lead on that. Every council meeting I was at Mr. McFee gave a report about the committee he sat on.

I fail to see where Tim commented on Mr. McFee's wardrobe...I've read his comment over and over to try and see where that is coming from. However, since you mention it, appropriate dress does make a huge impression, and I have rarely if ever seen Mr. McFee dressed professionally. Going to Hartford he would not just be representing Montville but other towns as well, he notoriously has a temper and refuses to act diplomatically. We don't need an overgrown school yard bully representing our district in Hartford.

Geez Elizabeth, could it be you're a Democrat?
Elizabeth May 03, 2012 at 07:16 PM
I didn't realize that caring who you have as a representative and being a democrat were mutually exclusive. I vote on issues, not based on party.
montvillejive May 03, 2012 at 07:32 PM
But Elizabeth, in your earlier post you didn't discuss issues, rather you characterized Mr. McFee's supposed personality traits. I didn't realize that a candidate's supposed personality and a candidate's position on an issue were mutually exclusive.

Please read again what I wrote. There is no mention about what he wears.

Mr Kevin Ryan is a dedicated man and I have known him to respond in a timely manner to issues I have presented to him. He and Edith Prague( so sorry to lose her due to her health) have done a great job. He shows up whenever he can to events in Montville. I have a sincere respect for him, and I do not care nor do I vote for party members. I choose people that I feel will do a great job for his or her constituents. I will never vote for anyone who all they have to do with their life, is be negative, play dirty politics or distort facts or downright lie.

The question I have are we better today that 20 years ago? Since Dana has Dropped out my vote is for Leon Moore, we need a fresh voice in Hartford. Leon is actictive with his family, community and church. He is always volunteering his time for one event or another. Its not about Democrates or Republican party lines is about needing a conservative change in hartford to help get us back on track
