President Barack Obama came to Connecticut Monday evening for a pair of quick fundraising visits with supporters and wealthy donors.
to a $500-per-ticket reception at the Stamford Marriott, followed by a $35,800-a-head dinner at the Westport home of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. The money will go straight to Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign.
. The president’s campaign has raised $2.8 million versus Romney’s campaign raising $4.8 million.
