Patch's Poll: Would You Pay $500 to Attend a Presidential Campaign Visit?

That was the ticket price to see President Barack Obama during a campaign stop in Stamford on Monday.

 

President Barack Obama came to Connecticut Monday evening for a pair of quick fundraising visits with supporters and wealthy donors.

to a $500-per-ticket reception at the Stamford Marriott, followed by a $35,800-a-head dinner at the Westport home of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. The money will go straight to Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign.
