A new study in Australia shows that young adults in affluent families are living with Mom and Dad longer than their less wealthy counterparts.
"Three quarters of 20-year-olds from wealthy backgrounds live at home, while less than two-thirds of young adults whose families used welfare still rely on them for financial support, the report finds."
According to a Pew study, 30 percent of young adults 25-34 are now living at home, compared with around 11 percent back in the early eighties when many of those boomerangers were born.
