Patch's Poll: Does CT's Primary Matter?

There are four names on the April 24 ballot, but Mitt Romney is the de facto nominee. Is Connecticut's presidential primary moot?

Republicans will go to the polls on April 24 - at an estimated cost of $1 million - to vote for their presidential candidate to face Barack Obama in November. One name on that ballot, Rick Santorum, has already dropped out. Another, Newt Gingrich, has admitted in interviews he is out of the running. And a third, Ron Paul, is barely even mentioned as a contender anymore.

Mitt Romney is the de facto nominee for president for the GOP, even though states are continuing to hold primaries and caucuses. Av Harris, spokesman for the secretary of the state's office, said the total cost of the primary is about $1 million, paid at the local level by the 169 towns hosting the voting.

Is it worth it to spend $1 million on a race that has already been decided? Take our poll and add your thoughts in the comments.

Still in the cult I see, Rather didn't forge anything, if some of them were forged they were forged by someone else. You really are a child politically, you didn't even watch the video because it scares you. Truth is that is a fair and balanced report they hammer Boehner and Pelosi, fauxnews would have hammered Pelosi while wrapping Boehner in the flag. The truth scares you because it destroys the fantasy land you live in, that somehow the GOP is working for you and stopping the evil liberals, ohhhhh. How childish and pretty screwed up. I said very clearly that both parties suck and need to go, now go play with yourself. p.s. W didn't complete his service to his country either way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killian_documents_controversy

it amazes me how screwed up in the head some people are, like I said they would rather attack and make snide comments than learn, just because the truth and fact run contrary to what they believe.

I just showed you which corporations are not paying taxes and that we are paying them on top of, I showed you how our politicians are being paid off, both parties. And your response is to attack me? Unfortunatley this a G rated blog because I would tell you where to go. You should be asking Daria Novak if she has taken any insider trading and just what the hell she and others are doing in DC.

PDY I am not arguing with you. Each state gets one vote per delegate (Senators and Representatives). That is the way it is and you will not change my view on that so how bout we just quit responding to each other. You may continue it you wish but I am done
