Hello, Montville!

It's official. I'm yours.

Aquy!

I can barely find the words to express how thrilled I am to introduce myself to Montville as your new Patch editor.

I’ve met some people in the past few weeks – town officials and Boy Scouts, elementary school kids and teachers, business owners and public safety officials. Now, I want to meet you. We can chat via email or at your favorite spot for coffee. I can meet you at the Senior Center or at Town Hall, in the parks or in the shops, on the Reservation or at the Casino, in your homes or at the ball field, in the classroom or over lunch. Or, we can chat on the phone or text each other! Yes, I can text!

I am truly looking forward to being part of this community. I want to tell your stories and share your news.  And I could use some help, too! I can’t be everywhere and you are…so send me those amazing pictures of your daughter’s soccer game, son’s tee-ball playoffs, first birthdays and 50th anniversaries, your milestones are all our milestones. So keep us all posted.

Montville Patch is yours! I want it to be your home page, your home base, your first stop for all things Montville!

I’m so excited and I have lots of ideas for stories and lots of plans for great coverage, but I cannot do this without you so keep me in the loop!  Especially you moms! Let me help you as you help me share the important stories, events and information about our kids and all the cool things they’re doing. Let’s celebrate and champion the everyday folks that make small towns like this something special.

Like us on Facebook, check the site daily and make sure to post your events!

And remember, I’m here for you, so call or text me at 860-389-0933 or drop me an email at ellyn.santiago@patch.com or follow me on Twitter @ellynsantiago or @MontvillCTPatch.
