Person of the Week is ...Judy Abrams

This one was so easy. Judy Abrams, director of choral music at Tyl is our Person of the Week. 

Judy is a a talented and committed educator. She adores her job and her kids -- the music students of Tyl Middle School. And she is particularly fond of her amazing chamber choir kids who performed last week at the state capitol. 

But the reason I chose Judy is because she has been tenacious at making sure the community knows how committed the choir kids are and how talented. She’s been up at all hours pulling together video for Patch to share, uploading photos, writing emails, making calls -- working with Patch seemingly around the clock as we moved to our new platform (isn’t it awesome??) and inexplicably LOST the story about the choir. It fell inside the great virtual abyss somewhere. But she was gracious and patient as I started from scratch.  And she did all this work and didn’t get paid a dime.

That is dedication! 

Montville is super lucky to have Judy working with its kids.
