In an effort to further demonize, dehumanize, and degrade the law abiding gun owners of Connecticut the leaders of the CGA (Williams and Sharkey) have ordered the Capitol Police to install and use metal detectors at Monday’s hearing of the Gun Violence Prevention Subcommittee.
All hearing participants (except the legislators and the special interest group members of course) will be forced to undergo the dehumanizing process of passing through a metal detector. I have no doubt that Williams and Sharkey at least considered using the TSA airport security check process and procedure and would have except they could not get the body scanners in time. Frisking and strip searches are still options however.
