Your Daily Five, folks.

1. Sun and clouds, dry with a high of 44.

2. In a few days, Montville Patch will debut its brand new look; the grass in this Patch will be oh so much greener! It will be brand new and it will be awesome! I’ll share more details in the next few days, so stay tuned! Each day between now and blast off to Patch 2.0 late Sunday…

 3. Montville has THREE entries in Deck The House, the awesome Patch national holiday decorating contest. The grand prize winner gets $100,000 for their school district.; 24 finalists will have their December electric bill paid (up to $500) and 906 folks will have bragging rights as a Patch Best Decked House! Please vote!

4. The tree at Route 163 at the on-ramp to I-395  has been decorated each year for many and it, quite literally, makes so many people happy as evidenced by the number of Patch Facebook recommends, likes and comments! Isn’t it amazing how a gesture like that can mean so much to so many.

5. Inland Wetlands Commission meets at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers and its agenda includes the Marriot Plaza, LLC application for a mixed use development consisting of first floor retail  and 36 apartments above at 1360 Route 32.
