Help Keep People Warm This Winter

Cold weather is upon us and many people are going without coats, gloves, hats and boots.

According to the page on GoFundMe, many items - including gently used clothing, shoes, gloves, blankets and more - have been collected. Lynn Drake would like to make backpacks to hand out to the homeless and the displaced veterans of our country.

The page states, "In these backpacks we would like to include one outfit, socks, gloves, basic toiletries and a coat or a blanket to get them through the winter months. We have teams set up nationwide to collect and distribute goods to take to the streets, shelters, food banks and other organizations. But even with all of our efforts we are still short on some things. Backpacks and toiletries especially. If you can not help monetarily that is ok but please go through your things and see what you can donate."
