Help a Local Man After a Serious Accident

Matthew Frechette needs your help and is raising funds through GoFundMe.

Matthew Frechette was in a serious motor vehicle accident and is raising money for his cause via the GoFundMe Web site.

According to the page on GoFundMe, he had to be extricated from his Jeep Wrangler and then was transported to The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich via ambulance. Matthew sustained multiple incapacitating injuries. After initial examination and stabilization, he was flown to the Hartford Hospital Trauma Center via LifeStar Helicopter.

The page states, "While Matt is recovering there will be a lapse of income to their household. As we all know raising three children and maintaining a home can be expensive. This fund was created to help provide for Matthew's children during his ongoing treatment. Whether it goes towards a meal, shelter, or an ongoing expense every little bit helps."

So far, $1,100 has been raised. To donate to the cause, visit the GoFundMe page.
