You Decide...

My friends, today I am releasing two pictures of Dana McFee’s maroon ford pick-up truck in front of my home. Please notice in picture one the white and red “Dump Dana “sign to the lower right. Please notice in picture two that same sign in the lower right corner is gone, if you click on the picture you can zoom in and clearly see the license plate number and I now know the plate belongs to Dana McFee. Now having seen these two pictures you make up your own mind as to what happened to my sign.

Now the rest of the story:

Four weeks ago I purchased ten “Dump Dana” signs with stakes for $175.00 and decided to exercise my right to free speech and place a sign at the intersection of Carolina Dr and Maryland Rd. After three day’s someone stole the sign, so I replaced it with another sign and that one was also stolen within days. Number three was also stolen. On October 22, 2013 I went out to get my mail and the sign was there, twenty minutes later I was letting the dog out and noticed the sign missing and witnessed a maroon ford pick-up truck driving up Maryland Dr. I choose not to make a big deal out of it because there was not enough evidence to make a complaint. On October 23, 2013 I placed another sign in the same location only this time I placed a deer camera on my neighbor’s porch pointing at the sign in hope of catching the sign thief. This camera takes still shots on any motion detected and will take a picture every 15 seconds as long as it detects motion.

On October 26, 2013 I noticed the sign missing around 3:00pm I immediately retrieved the camera and down loaded the SD card. I went through 188 pictures before I came across the two maroon pick-up truck pictures. On Monday October 28, 2013 I met with the Connecticut State Police Resident Trooper to file a formal complaint.

I want to make this perfectly clear I did not break this story. Mr. Dana McFee posted on his Facebook that he was going to be arrested and called my integrity into question.

Mr. McFee posted this on his Facebook page on October 28th   9:14pm

“This guy places this derogatory sign with my name on it out to the edge of the road then trains a video camera on it hoping to catch someone confiscating it. He allegedly has me on camera taking the sign then goes to the police like the little sissy he is and asks them to arrest me. Can you think of any self respecting individual that would lower himself to do that? I think he’s been a corrections officer too long I think the “punks” have rubbed off on him.”

Imagine that, someone trying to protect his property by using a camera. What about stealing the sign I guess in his mind that is self-respecting.

Make no mistake about it, I really dislike Mr. McFee and in my opinion he is the worst town councilor ever.

Some may say this is petty or it’s only a sign. Yes, it is only a sign but it’s my sign and my right as an American citizen to display that sign. Stealing is stealing and a thief will always be a thief.
