Collaborative (ETC) announces A Celebration and Reading of Zora Neale
Hurston’s Writings on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 4:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 23 Willow Street, Mystic, CT. Featured
participants include Zora Neale Hurston’s niece, Lucy Anne Hurston; actress, Camilla Ross; award-winning poets, Attallah Sheppard and Rhonda Ward; playwright, Lisa Giordano; and creative strategy consultant, Leslie Singer. Zora Neale
Hurston’s nephew, Edward Hurston, a musician who has performed at The Apollo
Theater in Harlem will be performing the blues harmonica as well. General
Admission: $10, Seniors and Students $8. Refreshments will be served.
