Animals on the Farmstead
Join members of Ledyard High School’s Agricultural Program and Museum staff on the Farmstead to meet and learn about the types of animals that would have lived here during the 18th century. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.

Hone Your Hunting Skills
Learn about and try using traditional Native hunting tools – like an atlatl or a bow and arrow. Practice with our reproductions under the guidance of Museum educators. On the Farmstead. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.

Discovery Carts: Learning Centers
Discoveries are in store when you find the five carts stationed throughout the Museum: the Fur Cart, Powwow Cart, Native Games Cart, the environmentally friendly Green Cart, and the Pot, Pouch, & Pocket Cart. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.
