Celebrate the Holidays at BALLO Italian Restaurant!

BALLO Italian Restaurant and Social Club at Mohegan Sun, will celebrate their second holiday season with some festive specials and a fabulous New Year’s Eve party Italian style. For both Christmas Eve, December 24th and Christmas Day, December 25th, BALLO will offer a selection of holiday a la carte specials in addition to the regular menu.  Both days the restaurant will open at 12 p.m. and offer the dinner menu all day long until 9 p.m. along with the specials.  The specials include: Zuppe de Pece with lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams, swordfish, roasted peppers and fennel ($42); Grilled Octopus, white beans, castelveltrano olives, chilies ($17); and Grilled lamb chops, radicchio, potato purée ($43).  Reservations are suggested.


 


Ring in the New Year BALLO Italian Style!


BALLO Italian Restaurant and Social Club will ring in 2013 with fabulous Italian dinner specials and dancing into the wee hours.  Start the evening off with some creative and indulgent Italian specialties in addition to the regular menu. Specials include: Lobster and black truffle risotto ($42); 24 oz bone in ribeye, pecorino potatoes, aged balsamico ($58); and Twin butter poached lobster tails, roasted beets and grilled radicchio ($58).  The dinner menu will be offered all day long beginning at 12 p.m.  The party at BALLO gets started at 10 p.m. with DJ Louie Faiola spinning the latest and greatest tunes of 2012 and the BALLO dancers getting the party started.  Revelers will enjoy a prosecco toast at midnight complete with party favors and noisemakers while watching the ball drop in Times Square on one of the three flat screen TVs over the bar.  There will be a $30 cover charge for anyone entering the Social Club after 10 p.m. for the party.  VIP tables with bottle service will be available in the Social Club.  Reservations are suggested.
