Who's Montville's Person of the Year?

TIME magazine named President Barack Obama their person of the year. Tell us who you think should win from Montville!

On Dec. 19, Time magazine named President Barack Obama as their Person of the Year.

The magazine invited votes on 40 candidates, including Barack Obama, Gabby Douglas and Kim Jong Un. Other options included The Mars Rover and the Higgs Boson Particle.

But who cares about the same-old, same-old? Who is Montville’s Person of the Year—the man or woman who, in Timespeak, “most influenced the news this year for better or worse”?

Tell us your pick in the comment section below!

Well we know its not the mayor. I don't know of anyone who has been more involved and does more for the betterment of Montville than Tom McNally.

I would like to nominate Kristin Ventresca. Kristin has developed a program at Christmas time at Oakdale School called the "Giving Tree", which is an anonymous donations of Christmas presents to specific anonymous children based on a list and posted in the vestibule of the school for those children who may not be able to receive what they want from Santa because of the needs of the families. So many children have a much better Christmas because of her. She has also worked manyENDLESS hours working along with many people affiliated with the town and school system to establish a LACROSSE team to our town which has become so popular in the sports world today. This endeavor will also be a positive result to so many children in town, who love participating in sports and become part of a team situation where they can thrive in so many ways. THANK YOU KRISTIN FOR ALL YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
