What Were Google's Top 10 Searches for 2012?

Topping the list were Whitney Houston, Hurricane Sandy and Election 2012. Check Google's complete list here.

 

Newark, New Jersey-native Whitney Houston topped Google's list of the most searched in its year-end report. News of the singer's death Feb. 11 of this year spiked to the top of Google's list.

Hurricane Sandy, the storm that killed more than 100 and destroyed entire communities in New York and New Jersey was the second on the list.

Rounding out the list was Michael Clarke Duncan, the actor who surged in popularity after his role as John Coffey in "The Longest Mile" and KONY 2012, a film made to highlight Ugandan war criminal John Kony.
