A week after what would be called Tropical Storm Irene (felt like a hurricane to us!) so many in Montville were still without power. It would take days, weeks even before Montville got back on its feet. I’ve been looking back at the stories then-Montville Patch Editor Carrie Jacobson did (AMAZING work!) and all the phenomenal photos posted by residents including Ellen Hillman, Gary Murphy and Candy Buebendorf -- all amazing images.
What did we learn? Will we do things differently if it should happen again? We know CL&P learned (hopefully) from its mistakes.
But we’re all still here!
