Municipal Meetings Nov. 13 to Nov. 16

A week's worth of meetings in four days.

Parks & Recreation Commission meets Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in room 102 of town hall. The agenda includes holiday parade planning discussion and a youth basketball update.

Planning & Zoning Commission also meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. but in Council Chambers in Town Hall. The agenda includes a hearing a proposed eight-lot Chapel Hill Road subdivision.

Two short public hearings on recent public auctions of two tax-sale properties; at 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. The regular meeting of the Montville Town Council is at 7 p.m. and includes a packed agenda on which is the resolution to fix the Council chair’s mistake last month when the body voted on the wrong version of the controversial senior safety zones. (More on that Wednesday).

Public Safety Building Committee meets Thursday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. in room 203, but as of yet, there is no agenda posted on the town’s website.

Friday, there’s a posted Board of Education meeting, but the agenda reads Nov. 20, so it’s unclear which is correct. I’ll get back to you on that one.
